“My Country, My Pride”

With this thought and patriotic fervor, the 75th Independence day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and pride by the faculty at Ladyhill English Primary.

The flag hoisting ceremony was held at 8.45 a.m. in the school grounds. The Headmistress hoisted the flag. It was followed by a prayer service by the teachers. The importance of the day was given by Tr Predita.

In a PPT presentation, the Headmistress Sr Maisie, wished the students and everyone, protection, peace, prosperity and happiness as well as gave a note on the importance of striving for unity among the citizens of our country.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The teachers sang a patriotic song praising the diverse culture, caste, creed of our nation. The students danced to a patriotic song. A video presentation was forwarded to the students by class teachers of class 2 and 6, Tr Predita and Tr Divya. As a part of the Independence day activity, competitions were held for the students of Class I to VII.

The programme concluded with a quote, “Carried with care, coated with pride, dipped in love, fly in Glory, moment of freedom in the shade of joy”.

Let us be proud Indians today and always and build One Nation, One identity.”
