“ An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind” says Mahatma Gandhi.
To commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of our nation, the students of class 1 and 5 enthusiastically took part in the Gandhi Jayanthi event celebrations, virtually with patriotic feeling.
The programme commenced with Bapu’s  favorite hymn “ Ragupathi Ragava Raja Ram”, followed by a meaningful prayer service. The Headmistress in her message highlighted the quote of Mahatma, “ My life is my message and you must be the change that you wish to see in the world”.
The students spoke on the possessions of Gandhi namely Khadi, Spectacles, Sandals, walking stick and gave their significance. A video presentation on the three unique monkeys of Gandhiji with their principles was highlighted with the fourth monkey saying, “ Post no evil in the social media”.
To create love and awareness on Swachh Bharath, the students of class 6 and 7 being in school volunteered for a Shramadhan and helped to keep clean the classrooms, school premises and the school surrounding.
