Government Higher Primary School in Nellyady hosted a district-level volleyball tournament under the joint sponsorship of the school education and literacy departments of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat. Five players from Ladyhill English Higher Primary School were chosen for the Divisional Level after they finished second in the girl's division.
