The International Women's Day celebration at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School by the class I B and class VII A was a heartfelt tribute to women's strength, admiration, appreciation, and respect for the role of women in shaping our society. The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Shanti Priya Lasrado, District Hospital Quality Manager, District Health and Family Welfare Department, Dakshina Kannada. Her presence added honor and significance to the occasion.

     The program began with a soulful and uplifting prayer song and prayers, invoking blessings for women everywhere. The melodious rendition created a serene atmosphere and inspired a sense of unity among the participants. Later students extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest through a welcome dance that not only showcased hospitality but also added a touch of cultural richness and excitement to the event.

    Students presented meaningful and lively dances, Enticing skits and mesmerizing mime shows highlighting the significance of women in various spheres of society and depicted the challenges faced by women, as well as their triumphs and achievements. Each item conveyed a powerful message of empowerment and equality, inspiring the audience to recognize and support women's rights.

    The message delivered by the Chief Guest Mrs. Shanthi Priya on Women's Day left a profound impact on the students, inspiring them to reflect on the importance of recognizing and valuing the contributions of women in society. She reminded the students that behind every successful man, there is often a woman providing support, guidance and inspiration.

   Thus she emphasized the need to love and respect women in all aspects of life and encouraged students to cultivate a culture of respect, equality, and dignity towards women, both at home and in society.
