The much-anticipated Sports Day at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School unfolded with great enthusiasm and excitement.

   The event was graced in the morning by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Miss Dr. Swathi K M, an accomplished ex-student of our institution and National level Chess Player ,The Joint Secretary of Ladyhill Institutions Sr. Violet Tauro A C , PTA Vice President Mr. Praveen Kumar and esteemed members of the Parent-Teacher Association Executive Committee.

   Amidst an air of anticipation, the dignitaries were accorded a warm welcome by the school band playing a melodious tune, setting a festive tone for the special occasion.

   The day commenced with a soul-stirring prayer song. The melody echoed through the School grounds, setting the tone for a day of friendly competition.

  The inauguration was a visual spectacle, marked by the release of colorful balloons symbolizing the soaring spirit of sportsmanship. Students marched smartly, class by class, demonstrating discipline and unity. The synchronized footsteps reverberated across the grounds, a testament to the dedication and coordination instilled through weeks of preparation.

   The declaration of Sports Day opened by Miss Dr. KM Swathi Bhat through the lighting of the ceremonial cauldron was a poignant and symbolic moment.

   Following the cauldron lighting, the chief guest delivered an inspirational address, encouraging students to give their best and emphasizing the values of sportsmanship and teamwork. The words resonated with the athletes and set a motivational tone for the day's events.

    The pinnacle of the day was the track events, featuring the heart-pounding 400m, 200m and the relay races. The athletes showcased remarkable speed, determination, and endurance, leaving the audience in awe. The roaring cheers from the stands added to the electrifying atmosphere.

    The afternoon session of our Sports Day was graced by the presence of esteemed chief guest Mr. Satish Kumar Kudroli, international powerlifter. The guests and parents witnessed a mesmerizing drill display, showcasing precision, coordination, and discipline. Classes 1 to 8 enthusiastically participated, turning the sports arena into a vibrant display of synchronized movements and colorful formations.

   The chief guest in his address expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional work that school has done in the realms of both sports and academics. He added that it was inspiring to see an institution that understands the importance of holistic development. The values instilled, the lessons learned, and the friendships forged within these walls will undoubtedly shape the future leaders and contributors to society.

    The honoring ceremony served as a fitting conclusion to the Sports Day festivities as the coaches, student achievers in various sports, and Champions and Winners of the Annual Sports Day 2023 were honored in the ceremony by the chief guest and the esteemed guests that acknowledged their dedication, hard work, and outstanding achievements.
