Republic Day holds immense significance in schools as it marks the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950. This day signifies the transition of India from a constitutional monarchy to a sovereign democratic republic.

The Republic Day celebration at Ladyhill English Higher Primary was a spectacular triumph. The distinguished guests Mr.Kiran Kumar,Corporator,Bangra Kulur ward, Mangalore, Headmistress Sr.Jennifer Moras AC, Assistant Headmistress Sr Ivy Moras AC and the PTA Vice President Mr. Praveen Kumar and the PTA executive members were led by the school band in a dignified procession to unfurled the National flag, adding a ceremonial touch to the Republic Day celebration. The atmosphere was filled with pride and patriotism as Chief Guest Mr. Kiran Kumar hoisted the National Flag to commemorate this significant day.

   The Republic Day cultural program held at our Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall was a blend of reverence and celebration. Commencing with a heartfelt prayer, it seamlessly transitioned into an enlightening skit on fundamental duties. Patriotic fervor resonated through stirring songs, while the vibrant dances beautifully portrayed the diverse culture of India and tribute to soldiers, instilling a profound feeling of oneness among the participants. The event was a spectacular tribute to our nation's spirit.

   The chief guest Mr Kiran Kumar, in an inspiring address, encouraged students to aspire for greater heights in life. The chief guest passionately urged students to set their sights on becoming IAS and IPS officers, emphasizing the significance of public service.His motivational words aimed to inspire a sense of purpose and commitment among the students towards contributing to the nation through civil services.Drawing inspiration from the exemplary life of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the guest emphasized the importance of dedication and determination in achieving one's goals. The message resonated, leaving a lasting impact on the students.
