"The heart that gives, gathers " Marianne Moore

For many individuals, including those who are homeless, recently bereaved, lonely or struggling to make ends meet, Christmas can be a tough time. With this knowledge, the pupils at Ladyhill English Primary School contributed the yearly love offering with zest and excitement through their deeds of kindness. Children brought in their offerings in cash and kind, which were graciously supplied by their parents and experienced the joy of Christmas by assisting others in need.

Headmistress Sr. Maisie, Asst. Headmistress Sr. Jyothi, two staff members, Carmel Blossom students, and class 5B students had the opportunity to visit the inmates of White Doves and share their Christmas love offering. They delivered a gracious programme with gaiety. The programme began with a prayer session, followed by the Nativity drama and singing and dancing to the rhythm of Christmas carols.

On another occasion, the students' generosity was shared with the inmates of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

A prayer service and Carol singing was also organised for the pupils, school van drivers, and auto drivers to enhance the joy and giving spirit of Christmas.

Finally, the Christmas sharing was also given to the much-needed families of our own students.

True to the spirit of the event, the children took home the lesson of sharing and caring, as well as the pleasure and pride of spreading peace. The parents' generosity has contributed to their own happiness, health, and well-being, as well as the happiness, health, and well-being of those who have benefited.
