In co-ordination with the Taluk Health Department, an “Awareness drive on COVID – 19” vaccine was held at Ladyhill Victoria P.U College for the staff and parents of Ladyhill institutions. Around 100 members including the staff were present for this talk which was given by Frontline Warriors Mrs. Gayathri Shetty and Mrs. Renuka.

God’s graces were invoked by the High School staff through a prayer song. The heads of the Ladyhill Institutions were present for this occasion. The frontline warriors informed that the vaccination will be given based on the priority group such as the healthcare and frontline workers, second group persons over 60 years of age and persons between 45 and 59 years of age.

It was informed that the vaccination for COVID – 19 is voluntary and it is advisable to receive the complete schedule of COVID -19 vaccine in 2 doses for protecting one - self against this disease and also to limit the spread of this disease to the close contacts including family members, friends, relatives and co- workers. A PPT on “ Health Tips” by Padmavibushan Dr. B. M. hedge was shown to the audience.
