In a thought-provoking session held at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School, Mr. Andrew Dias, a passionate environmentalist, brought awareness to students about the hazards caused by improper plastic disposal. His engaging talk emphasised the importance of adopting effective plastic waste management strategies, including recycling and reusing, in order to protect our planet and the diverse life it sustains.

One of the key areas of concern Mr. Dias emphasised was, the impact of plastic waste on water creatures. He vividly described how marine life is endangered due to the ingestion of plastic debris and entanglement in discarded fishing nets. The devastating consequences of plastic pollution on the delicate marine ecosystem were illustrated, leaving a lasting impression on the students.
